What to do in Le Crotoy this weekend? There are plenty of events on offer throughout the year! Here are the highlights of the cultural calendar and the events not to be missed during your stay at Camping La Prairie.
- April: the Bird and Nature Festival (documentary films, lectures, guided nature outings, wildlife art exhibitions).
- May: the Marées d'Humour laughter festival, a Crotellois "comedy club" to showcase talent (Ascension weekend).
- May: the Vélomaritime festival in the Baie de Somme (events, stalls, exhibitions and sales, tastings, etc.).
- June: the Transbaie, a 17km foot race between Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Le Crotoy (6,500 participants and up to 20,000 spectators).
- July: the Pirate Festival (entertainment, shows, sea chanteys, sword fights, rope-climbing lessons, storytelling and a pirate camp).
- August: the Sea Festival (entertainment, concerts, procession, blessing of the boats at sea).
- September: La Réderie, a large flea market with 200 stallholders (first Sunday in September).
- October: Fête de la Transhumance and fête des moutons d'Estran (first weekend in October).
