Fort Mahon Plage

18 kms separate our campsite from Fort Mahon Plage, north of Le Crotoy. This pretty seaside resort between Baie de Somme and Baie d'Authie is very interesting for its diversity of activities to practice on its territory.

First of all, its 20 kilometres of beach are an undeniable asset for yacht enthusiasts without forgetting the usual water sports of this Picardy region: swimming, windsurfing, paddle, kite surfing, kayaking, etc... Then, walks and hikes of all kinds on foot, by bike or even on horseback allow you to discover the Authie dune and the Royon dune through the marked trails. These few kilometres of pure happiness in these dune landscapes show you that preserving these exceptional places is essential for the ecology and economy of our beautiful region of the Hauts de France.

From Fort Mahon down to Le Crotoy, take a break at Parc du Marquenterre, the Baie de Somme National Nature Reserve: forest, dunes, swamps with migratory bird watching. If you decide to go further north in the direction of Berck, discover the Authie Bay at the maritime coastal limit between the Somme and the Pas de Calais.
